The industrial park of the Pla de Santa Maria is very close to the exit number 10 (El Pla de Santa Maria – Valls) of the AP-2 motorway, on the C-37 highway that connects Valls and Igualada.
Pla de Santa Maria is a municipality with a long industrial tradition. An important textile industry was set up 100 years ago, which caused a noticeable growth of the population. The fact of having Direct access to the AP-2 freeway has enabled the installation of large companies, among which we can name: Ursa, Revlon, Hormipresa and Schutz Ibérica.
The industrial park of the Pla de Santa Maria has 1,190,000 m² of industrial land. It is the second largest industrial park in the Camp de Valls.
