Valls is an industrial city with more than 200 years of experience in many traditional sectors such as the paper, textile and leather industry, the manufacture of aiguardent (a sort of brandy), and the metallurgical industry.
Currently, with 3,519,000 m², the three industrial parks of Valls represent almost half of the industrial land of the Camp de Valls, with a large concentration of companies with a long tradition of business in traditional sectors such as the auxiliary industry of the automotive sector, the metallurgy, the food industry, the manufacture of materials for the construction and, more recently, the logistics and the distribution centres.
But other industrial and service sectors are also important in Camp de Valls, and a large number of small and medium-sized high technology companies in sectors such as engineering, computing, precision mechanics, production of moulds and dies, air conditioning and other activities related to the main companies of the strategic sectors of the territory.
The city of Valls is strategically connected with two exits to the AP-2 motorway, and an exit to the AP-7. With Tarragona’s Harbour along the A-27 motorway, and El Vendrell along the C-51. The AVE Camp de Tarragona station is set in five minutes from Valls.
